The Channel Islands gets only 500,000 Visitors a year. Only 20% of them make it past Anacapa and Santa Cruz Island. We made it a point to get out to Santa Rosa Island. The trip takes 2.5 Hours and features a pass along the back side of Santa Cruz Island:

Here are a couple shots of Santa Rosa at a distance, the Sandy Spot of Point Lobo - which is a breeding ground for Seals and other animals. 

The Below Shot shows the Torrey Pines at a distance... these are found in only two places in the world. Santa Rosa Island and near the famous Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego.
